I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago.  I went to Hinsdale South high school in Darien, IL - class of 1986.  I earned a B.S. degree in history from Jacksonville University (FL), honorably discharged militray officer, and published author of one novel (so far).  The title of said novel is Second Wave.  The isbn is 142429217X.  I can be found on facebook or twitter under my actual name, John Spanik.
